Even with the all black dress code, students toyed with their wardrobe to express themselves individually. The live art and spoken word pieces collaborated to leave a raw and unmistakable mark on that night. Conception was more than Echelon Twelves’ birth, but also a statement of existence and inspiration.
Echelon Twelve attracts a certain type of person. A person who values style, fashion, self-expression and art. On September 12th, at approximately 7 pm, our event Conception provided a creative place for this person. Students, celebrity guests, and sponsors took part in witnessing the birth of Spelman’s first creative arts and fashion organization. We have some amazing things in store for you all this year! You can view more photos from the event here and make sure to check out the video recap of the event at the end of this post.
